Do we have to pay the National Park fees ?

Yes, it is mandatory and it’s helping to preserve this unique scuba diving area. All people have to pay the tax following the regulation of the National Park.

What About the Visa Requirements ?

Our Visa Requirements All travelers to Indonesia must have a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the country. There are several levels of visa for entering Indonesia based on your nationality. Please have a look about Visa -free short visits for tourists and Visa – paid short visas for tourists‘.

How can I book my scuba diving packages with you ?

It’s easy to book a dive course, fun dives packages included accommodation with us. Simply contact us and we will get back to you with the required information and/or booking details that include the payment options. To block a booking, we are requesting 25% deposit. The deposit can be transferred to one of our bank accounts mentioned in the invoice.

Do we need to reserve online or simply pass by ?

We are scuba diving every day, so you can always walk in at our dive resort on labuan Bajo. We really advise you to pre booked everything to let us organizing everything for you such as instructor, courses or specific request.

Is the current always very strong in Komodo ?

Our responsibility is too let you discover the Komodo National park with the best services and safety possible. We will always consider the level and experience of the guest following the dives sites we will select.

Are you providing Scuba Diving PADI Course every day ?

You can start all Padi courses at Dragon Dive Komodo from PADI Open Water up to PADI Divemaster Courses at your own convenience and our instructors’ availability. So much better to book in advanced .

What are your Scuba diving ratio with DRAGON DIVE KOMODO ?

On a scuba diving day trip we have a maximum of 16 guests (divers). We always dive in small groups of maximum 4 divers and 1 guide. On Sea Queen and the course we are able to also provide 2 divers for 1 course .

Is the dive site far away from the resort ?

We are based in Labuan Bajo , and we will need around 1.45h to reach the National Park where we will do around 3 dives.

What a day trip with you looks like ?

The meeting will be at 7:30 AM in our main office in Labuan Bajo at Dragon Dive Komodo Dive Center. Equipment, supplies and guests’ bags will be ready for you and will be moved to the boat located on the harbor. Guests and dive guides walk to the harbor (65 m).
First thing to do is paying the Komodo National Park fees and then we check in on our day boat ‘Shiryu’.
When is double check and the briefing done by the boat master, our crew will help you to gear you up for your first scuba diving. During the journey you will be able to chill out on our deck , listening music or simply checking all marine guide book about the marine life surrounding Komodo.
After the first dive we’ll do our surface interval and navigate to the second scuba dive site. After the second dive we’ll have a freshly prepared lunch on boat. After the lunch we will go for the third dive site,and then we’ll navigate back to Labuan Bajo .
We will be back at the resort between 3:00 and 5:00 PM.

Is the dive site far away from the resort ?

We are based in labuan bajo , and we will need around 1.45h to reach the National Park where we will do around 2 or 3 dives.

Are you scuba diving with 12 L or 15 L tanks and are you using DIN or Yoke Valves ?

All our scuba diving tanks have both INT valves and DIN inserts. You don’t need to bring an adapter. We will provide 15L tanks (special request and extra) but only few as it s extremely complicated to get some in Indonesia.

Can we do FFESSM course in Labuan Bajo ?

Yes, the owner is French instructor and is able to deliver the certificate N1-N2-N3-N4 in Komodo.

When Is the best time to Visit and scuba diving Komodo.

The weather in Komodo is very good for most of the year for scuba diving. Dragon Dive Komodo suggest you to travel when it suits you the best, keeping in mind that it is quite windy and can be rough in the north of the Komodo National Park for the monsoon season from January to February.
