Escape the crowds. Experience Komodo & Alor with Nitrox included, gourmet dining, and strict safety standards. The ultimate choice for private groups and serious divers.
Bigger isn't better in Komodo. Large boats mean queuing for dives and crowded briefings. Shenron limits capacity to 8 guests for a reason: Flexibility, Safety, and Privacy.
While others dive in packs of 16-20, our small group moves fast. We hit the dive sites at the perfect tide, often before the big boats arrive.
We don't charge extra for safety. Free Nitrox for all certified divers means longer bottom times and less fatigue on 3-4 dive days.
A smaller vessel means we can change the plan based on wildlife reports. If Mantas are spotting north, we go north. No fixed "bus route".
Forget standard liveaboard buffets. At Dragon Dive, we believe food is fuel for adventure. Our menu is a curated Indo-French Fusion served "Family Style".
We understand that getting the shot takes time. Shenron is optimized for underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts.
Rest is critical for diving. We upgraded Shenron in 2024 to ensure hotel-level sleep quality at sea.
Wake up to the view of Komodo's islands. These cabins feature panoramic windows and extra space.
Located on the main deck (no stairs to climb), these cabins offer stability and cool comfort. Perfect for light sleepers.
Safety is not an option. Shenron operates to European Safety Standards.
Apr – Nov: Drift dives, Manta Rays, and Dragons. The classic itinerary covering North & Central/South sites.

Shenron liveaboard trips include accommodation in an ensuite cabin with air-conditioning, all meals, snacks, tea, coffee and water, 3 to 4 dives per day with a PADI professional guide, tanks and weights, plus Nitrox for certified divers.
Komodo National Park fees, equipment rental, alcoholic drinks and optional PADI courses are charged separately.
No, Komodo National Park fees are not included in the liveaboard price. They are paid in cash on arrival in Labuan Bajo and collected by the official authorities.
We will inform you of the latest approximate amount before your trip, but fees are subject to change by the park without notice.
Boarding for Shenron usually takes place around midday on the first day of your cruise. Exact boarding time and meeting point in Labuan Bajo will be confirmed in your booking email.
We strongly recommend arriving in Labuan Bajo at least one day before departure to avoid any issues with delayed flights.
Yes, Shenron offers a small selection of beer, wine and simple cocktails for an extra charge. Drinking alcohol is only allowed after all diving activities are finished for the day.
Bringing your own alcohol is usually possible as long as it is consumed responsibly and does not disturb other guests.
Yes, Shenron is equipped with Starlink satellite Wi-Fi. Coverage and speed depend on weather, satellite position and routing, especially in remote areas.
Internet access is offered for a flat fee per trip, so you can stay in touch while still choosing to disconnect if you prefer a digital detox.
Yes, Nitrox (around 29–31% depending on conditions) is included free of charge for all certified Nitrox divers on Shenron.
We highly recommend diving on Nitrox during multi-day liveaboard trips to reduce fatigue and increase your no-decompression limits.
We generally recommend being at least an Advanced Open Water diver with recent experience, as Komodo and Alor can involve currents, depth and challenging conditions.
However, some itineraries and selected sites may be suitable for Open Water divers. Tell us more about your experience and we will advise you on the best cruise and route for your level.
