The PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course builds upon your experience as an instructor and takes you into the world of instructor development. You’ll refine your own diving and teaching techniques while learning how to assess and mentor future instructors.
At Dragon Dive Komodo, you’ll audit an entire IDC alongside our Course Director and IDC team. You’ll see the full process — from the first workshop to the Instructor Examination — and learn how to support candidates at every step.
This course is a key milestone if you’re serious about a long-term career in diving: it opens the door to teaching the PADI Assistant Instructor course, staffing IDCs and working towards Master Instructor and eventually PADI Course Director.

✅ Prerequisites
- Teaching status PADI Instructor
- PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)
