Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully. They apply to all bookings with Dragon Dive Komodo, including Daily Diving, Dive & Stay Packages, and Liveaboard trips.
1. Booking & Payment
Policies differ slightly between Daily Trips and Liveaboard cruises.
🚤 Daily Diving & Dive/Stay
- Deposit: 50% non-refundable deposit required to confirm booking.
- Balance Due: 60 days prior to arrival/activity.
- Failure to settle the balance may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
🛥️ Liveaboard (Shenron)
- Deposit: 25% non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot.
- Balance Due: 30 days prior to departure.
- Failure to settle the balance on time may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
💳 Payment Methods & Fees
We accept Cash (IDR, EUR, USD) or Debit/Credit Card (Visa & Mastercard).
- A 3% processing fee applies to all card/transfer payments.
- We do not accept PayPal, Amex, or JCB.
2. Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is unavoidable, please review the terms below.
Alternative Options (Subject to Availability)
Before cancelling completely, consider these options:
- Reschedule: Move your date for a fee of IDR 1,000,000 per participant.
- Voucher: Issue a voucher equal to the deposit value for future use.
- Insurance Letter: We provide documents to support your travel insurance claim.
Park fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Missed dives due to seasickness, fatigue, or personal choice are non-refundable.

⚠️ PADI Courses: eLearning/Theory fees are non-refundable once codes are sent, as the student retains ownership of the digital product. This cost will be deducted from the refund.

3. Operational & Legal Conditions

🌊 Diving Conditions & Safety
- Certification: All divers must show valid certification (PADI, SSI, CMAS, etc.) for non-entry-level dives.
- Forms: All guests must complete Liability & Medical Forms before diving.
- Intro Dives: Non-certified divers may join Introductory Dives with an instructor.
- No Unguided Dives: Allowed on any of our trips.
- ⚠️ Site Changes: The Company reserves the right to change dive sites based on weather, safety, experience levels, or logistics.
Maximum Depth Limits:
- 18m: Open Water Divers
- 30m: Advanced Open Water OR Open Water + Deep Adventure Dive
- 40m: Only with prior Deep Dive Specialty certification
⛑️ Insurance & Liability
- Recommendation: Guests are strongly encouraged to have travel & dive insurance (DAN or equivalent).
- Mandatory: For Liveaboard trips, dive insurance is mandatory.
- ⚠️ Liability: The Company is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to personal property or gear.
🎒 Equipment Use & Rental
- Condition: All rental gear is checked before use.
- Responsibility: Guests are responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any rented equipment.
- ⚠️ Damages: Any damage or loss will result in financial compensation equal to the replacement value.
- Personal Gear: Personal equipment left on board is the sole responsibility of the guest.
- Misuse: Failure to follow standard safety rules is at the guest’s own risk.
🏨 Accommodation & Facilities
- ℹ️ Cleaning: Rooms cleaned daily. Sheets/towels changed every 3 days (environmental policy).
- Water: Hot water is available but finite; please use considerately. Potable water refills are free.
- Minibar: Drinks in Deluxe Double rooms are not included and charged at check-out.
- Pool: Open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Towels at reception.
- Gym: Free access. Please mind the noise.
- Damages/Loss: Damage to room/furniture or lost items (keys, towels) will incur replacement fees.
🌿 Conduct & Environment
- Respect: Guests must behave respectfully toward staff, locals, and the environment.
- 🚫 Zero Tolerance: Any verbal abuse, inappropriate language, or aggression toward staff or guests will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
- Prohibited: Littering, harassment of wildlife, and damage to corals.
- Exclusion: Dangerous behavior, excessive alcohol use, or ignoring safety guidelines may result in immediate exclusion without refund.
📷 Photography & Privacy
Dragon Dive Komodo may take photos/videos for promotional use. If you do not wish to appear, inform us anytime (before/during/after) and we will ensure your image is not used or is removed.
Your personal data is handled securely under applicable privacy laws.
🌋 Force Majeure
Dragon Dive Komodo is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control (volcanoes, natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes, etc.).
In such cases, no refund shall be issued. We will attempt to offer rescheduling or vouchers subject to availability. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
⚖️ Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.
✅ Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your booking and paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above Terms & Conditions.
