In case you are more adventurous and ambitious, Dragon Dive Komodo’s excellent facilities, equipment and instructor expertise support Technical Diving International’s (TDI) accredited courses on open-circuit and closed-circuit rebreathers (CCR) with AP Inspiration Diving. There is no prior technical diving experience required, but you should have an eagerness to learn something new and exciting.
Our dive resort has some of the best facilities in the area. The dive centre stocks ScubaPro Mk25, Apeks and Tecline diving equipment, AP Inspiration rebreathers, and has a climate-controlled technical room for tuition and equipment storage.

Technical diving is an advanced form of scuba diving where divers can dive deeper, perform accelerated decompression using oxygen-rich gasses, or dive inside wrecks and caves. We provide TDI-certified dive training, from beginner to instructor levels.

TDI NITROX DIVERS
TDI Nitrox course is an entry level course for divers wishing to utilise enriched air nitrox as a breathing gas. Little else has impacted recreational diving more than the introduction of nitrox, allowing more time underwater. During this course, you will learn the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving with EAN 22 to EAN 40.

TDI Intro To Tech
Want to improve your diving skills? The TDI Introduction to Technical Diving course is designed to introduce various concepts of technical diving and begin implementing dive planning at a technical level while remaining within recreational dive limitations. This course is limited to 23m and a minimum of 4 dives and is strictly a no-decompression course.

TDI ADVANCED NITROX
TDI Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 percent, within your current certification level, to a maximum depth of 40 metre that do not require staged decompression.
Advanced Nitrox is also a great course for those recreational divers wanting to extend their bottom times in shallower depths.
It is however, often taught in conjunction with the TDI Intro To Tech. This can be considered the foundation of your technical diving career.

TDI EXTENDED RANGE DIVER
The TDI Extended Range Course will teach you to conduct spectacular dives at depths deeper than 45m. The TDI Extended Range course teaches you the proper techniques for utilising compressed air as a breathing gas and with a maximum depth of 55m so you won’t have to miss those dives
