Quick Answers
When is the best time for Komodo dive trips?
Year-round. April-November: calm seas, best visibility in the north. November-April: manta season in the south. We adapt daily to conditions.
Do I need Advanced certification?
Not for all sites. Many sites suit Open Water divers (Siaba, Manta Point on calm days). Advanced sites like Batu Bolong and Castle Rock require certification + current experience.
Will I see manta rays?
Very likely at Manta Point. Peak season is November-April when plankton attracts large aggregations. Encounters happen year-round.
What's included in the dive trip price?
Guide (max 4-5 divers), tanks, weights, breakfast snack, lunch, drinks. Not included: park fees (~IDR 300k/day), equipment rental, Nitrox, alcohol.
Is Nitrox available?
Yes, for certified divers at additional cost. Included free on 4+ day packages. Great for multi-dive days.
What equipment do you provide?
Full ScubaPro rental: BCD (wings-style), regulators, 3mm wetsuit (5mm available), mask, fins. Shearwater computers and GoPro 13 for rent.
How do I pay park fees?
Cash only (Indonesian Rupiah) on the boat each morning. ~IDR 300,000/day. ATMs available in Labuan Bajo — withdraw the day before.
Can beginners join Komodo dive trips?
Yes! We have sheltered sites for new divers and offer PADI courses from Open Water to Instructor. We match sites to your level.
